About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid State License required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Must have experience with high-risk perinatal care. Must have skills in Administration of blood & blood products. Must be able to assist with complex deliveries and postpartum care. Must possess strong assessment and monitoring skills for neonates and mothers. Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The role involves providing care for patients during labor and delivery. You will also assist in postpartum care and support breastfeeding. Candidates should be prepared to float to postpartum as required. Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries is preferred, but those with 100-200 deliveries are also considered. Patient ratios aim for 1:1 in labor, 1:3 in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2-3 in antepartum. Triage will be staffed with multiple skilled RNs per shift. You will be part of a team that includes surgical techs and health unit coordinators. Knowledge of fetal heart rate monitoring and neonatal resuscitation is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work with high-risk pregnancies and newborns. Call responsibilities are not required for this position. Travelers may float between nearby facilities as needed.
