Charge Nurse, Procedural (Vascular OBL) - 8hr, Days

Job Description The Charge Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to the pre‑op through discharge from the Center. Sets and manages staffing schedule, oversees the day to day operational flow of patient care. Serves as a resource for clinical questions and patient care related issues as they arise. Works closely with the Administrator/Clinical Director, Nurse Manager, Medical Director and all staff. Provides leadership through example and sets the pace for an efficient, quality care focused, team oriented endoscopy center. Maintains a survey ready state. Qualifications Education Assoc. Degree/College Diploma - minimum Bachelor's Degree Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing - preferred Experience 5 years Nursing patient care experience - preferred 1 year RN leadership experience - minimum 1 year Experience in a hospital, ASC, Cath Lab, IR or ICU Setting - required Licenses and Certifications Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) - Upon Hire minimum If ACLS is through ARC, BLS is not required Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire minimum If candidate has AHA, BLS is required; RN State License - Upon Hire minimum Current RN license in the state of California #J-18808-Ljbffr Cedars-Sinai
