Assistant AP Manager

Recognized by Forbes, our client is a climate-tech company that enables homeowners, businesses, and EPCs/contractors to monitor their energy usage, solar/storage performance, financing, and customer & project management. This company has significantly grown over the past five years, and is on track to produce $3 Billion in revenue in 2026. Responsibilities Execute and support the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, invoice processing, and vendor management. Process and review high-volume payments (including milestone-based payments), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper approvals. Prepare and support month-end accruals, reconciliations, AP close related activities, internal and external audits. Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and automation, and assist with implementation. Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure AP is accurately reflected in financial statements, and pull AP data and prepare ad hoc reports. Skills & Qualifications 4-6+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience; prior senior level responsibility preferred. Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, and month-end close support. Experience with AP, banking, and ERP/accounting systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/accounting software. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
