Club Manager

Job Title: Club Manager Reports To: District Manager Status: Full Time / Supervisor / Exempt / Non-Exempt Job Summary Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members. Ensure member service standards by overseeing team member interactions and providing coaching and counseling to achieve company standards. Participate in front desk activities: greeting and welcoming members, providing gym tours, resolving member service issues, and assisting members. Support team members and club members in all operational tasks. Create and maintain a positive image for the club. Ensure prompt opening and closing of the gym and that the club is open and adequately staffed during all hours of business. Ensure staff are trained on current marketing promotions. Complete the manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for all new hires. Order supplies and track inventory. Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors and other departments to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings. Communication: maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and various departments. Minimum Qualifications Honesty and good work ethic. At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience. Strong customer service skills. Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. Basic computer proficiency. Physical Demands Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift. Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
