Structural Engineer – Buildings | Queens, NY
A growing structural engineering consulting firm in Queens is looking to add a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of building design experience to its team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects from design through construction. Candidates should have experience with structural analysis, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design, along with proficiency in structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit. PE license or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
Requirements:
5+ years of structural building design experience
BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, and NYC Building Code
Experience with structural analysis/design software and AutoCAD/Revit
PE license preferred
