Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join an inpatient hospital pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician on a 13-week+ contract, with three openings available in Gary, IN, and Merrillville, IN. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of supporting medication dispensing and sterile compounding in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Location:

• Gary, IN
• Merrillville, IN

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Perform sterile compounding following strict aseptic techniques.
• Operate and manage automated dispensing cabinets effectively.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and hospital staff to ensure proper inventory and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records according to hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques.
• Familiarity with automated dispensing cabinets.
• Must have signed agreements as per hospital requirements.
