Warehouse WorkerThis role supports multiple departments within a busy warehouse that refurbishes and prepares car key fobs for resale. Warehouse workers contribute to the full lifecycle of product handling, including receiving, sorting, re-programming technology components, assembling and replacing small parts, picking orders, packing, and shipping. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn different tasks are essential.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming products and materials and verify quantities and quality according to warehouse procedures.Sort key fobs and related components into appropriate categories or workstations based on established guidelines.Support technology-based processes by handling key fob units that are being re-programmed, following clear instructions and maintaining accuracy.Perform light assembly work, including replacing small parts on keys and preparing refurbished key fobs for sale.Pick orders accurately from inventory locations using established picking methods and documentation.Pack products securely and efficiently to meet quality standards and prevent damage during shipping.Inspect products and materials for defects, damage, or incorrect labeling, and report any issues promptly.Assist with general warehouse distribution activities, ensuring products move through the facility efficiently.Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, staging, and coordinating with shipping processes.Support receiving operations by unloading, organizing, and recording incoming shipments.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety policies.Handle utility and general warehouse tasks as needed to support overall operations.Remain open to working in any department (receiving, sorting, technology, assembly, picking, packing, or shipping) and collaborate with supervisors to determine the best departmental fit after initial training.Participate in voluntary overtime opportunities when available to support production needs.Follow all standard operating procedures and quality standards to ensure refurbished products meet required specifications.Essential Skills1–3 years of warehouse experience in a distribution, production, or similar environment.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment tasks.Background in sorting, receiving, and general warehouse operations.Ability to perform basic inspection of products for quality and accuracy.Comfort with assembly or light production work, including handling small parts.Reliability and consistency in following established processes and safety guidelines.Willingness to work across multiple departments and adapt to different tasks as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in warehouse distribution environments handling shipping and receiving activities.Familiarity with packaging processes and standards for consumer products.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.Strong attention to detail when inspecting, sorting, and assembling products.Comfort working with basic technology and equipment used in warehouse and refurbishment operations.Interest in long-term, permanent employment with opportunities for growth.Why Work Here?You will join a rapidly growing organization that has tripled in size over the last year and continues to expand, creating strong opportunities for stability and advancement.
