Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, while adhering to the standards of practice relevant to the state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care by employing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance the patient experience and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to the overall success of the department.

• Administers procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-pharmaceutical follow-up strategies, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management techniques.
• Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality benchmarks and enhance the outstanding care provided to patients.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating, evaluating, customizing, and delivering a holistic treatment plan that supports patient recovery.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 6 months of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.

• No travel is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
