A day in the life:

• Prepare daily outgoing mail by sealing, weighing, labeling and logging items for shipment via USPS and other services.
• Enter and verify data from multiple sources into computer systems, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
• Operate and maintain office equipment such as scanners, folding machines and labeling tools, including routine cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Review and process financial documents, including payments, refunds and account corrections.
• Scan and image documents for retention, perform quality checks and re-scan as needed to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Provide clerical support by updating customer records, retrieving files and assisting staff with training and procedure development as needed.
• Work is performed in a typical office environment and includes sitting or standing for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.

Minimum qualifications: One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
