About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of applicable interventional radiology experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, WA License, ARRT VI or CCI RCIS Must-Have: Must have applicable IR experience as an ARRT (VI) technologist or cardiovascular technologist. An ARRT (R) IR technologist with scrub experience is also appropriate. Description: This position requires on-call and rotating weekend coverage. Weekend shifts are mandatory. The role involves working with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The technologist will be responsible for maintaining and managing equipment. Experience with specific imaging techniques and procedures is essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong skills in patient care. Interpersonal skills are crucial for effective communication with a healthcare team. The job includes adhering to safety and sterility protocols. Successful candidates will have experience with specific equipment and technologies relevant to interventional radiology. Attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring patient status is vital. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Candidates should be prepared to float between facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is expected.
