Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients by utilizing a variety of evaluations, including range of motion and functional tests, to determine the degree of impairment and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Design individualized treatment plans based on evaluative findings, patient goals, and collaborating with physicians. Modify these plans according to the patient's progress and specific needs.
• Administer direct physical therapy treatments including hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and use of modalities such as heat, massage, and electrical stimulation as indicated.
• Instruct patients and their caregivers on self-care methods and home exercise programs to facilitate independent management of their conditions.
• Act as a consultant for physicians and other healthcare providers regarding physical rehabilitation needs, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Oversee the work and treatment provided by support personnel, ensuring adherence to clinical best practices and safety protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and neurological conditions. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors, each requiring individualized therapy strategies based on their unique conditions and functional goals. This role is crucial in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing customized exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy to optimize patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
