Registered/Certified Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Position Details:

Location: Oviedo, FL 32765

Pay: Min: $28- Mid to Max: (12+ years of experience): $35-$40 an HR

Shift: Days/Nights

Qualifications:

• 1 year of RRT experience required (would like to see L&D or critical care experience). CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) does not qualify.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
