Our client in Clare, MI, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $24

Shift:
2nd Shift - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd Shift - 10 pm to 6 am (Sunday night start)
overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Operate and perform set-ups on manual and CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and presses.
• Manage multiple CNC machines simultaneously, ensuring efficient production flow.
• Create and monitor toolpath strategies using Inventor CAM software for 2.5 to 5-axis milling and mill-turn operations.
• Perform quality checks, complete shop work orders, and document inspection results.
• Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues independently.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED. REQUIRED
• At least 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment. REQUIRED
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
• Experience with Inventor CAM software and CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and presses.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
