Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Must pass Airstrip telemetry competency.

Preferred Credentials: - CCRN Certification

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in the post-acute setting.

Unit Details: - Rehab/post-acute setting that may include telemetry patients. - Uses patient lifts, iSTAT, and glucometers. - Responsibilities include assisting with the rehabilitation care plan established by the interdisciplinary team, lab draws, IV antibiotics, IV medications as needed, blood administration as needed, head-to-toe assessments, inhaler/breathing treatments, and wound vac dressing changes.
