We have a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our events team. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch boasts its abilities to accommodate private events from 2-300 guests, and hosts events ranging from corporate meetings to a full wedding ceremony and reception.

We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our events team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in providing seamless service for events held at Farmstead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with a team that values professionalism, hospitality, and excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up event space according to event specification
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and dcor according to event specifications
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to hospitality and safety standards
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious service to guests throughout each event
• Collaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure timely and coordinated service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines

Education, Experience and Required Skills

• Prior experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service required
• A passion for food, wine, and hospitality
• Food Handler's certification and RBS certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event schedule
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry plates of food
• Must be able to lift cases of wine on a daily basis
• Must be able to use both hands to handle, grasp, move and control objects, tools and equipment operations
• Must be able to bend or twist body
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Compensation and Benefits

• Part-time hourly position
• Compensation: $28 per hour
• Retirement Savings (401k) includes generous company matching
