Entry Level Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

As a member of our Montgomery team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself and perform a variety of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects from the initial planning and design phase through construction. In this role, you will work alongside Project Management and Design Leads in the planning, designing, and commissioning of projects from design through construction for water treatment, collection and distribution projects. Working within a multi-disciplinary team you will be challenged to grow and learn in your everyday tasks which could consist of:

hydraulic modeling

assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications

performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies

data collection, processing, and analysis to support planning and design activities

supporting construction activities related to your designs to ensure proper construction

providing on-site troubleshooting based on field conditions to including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Biosystems Chemical or Environmental Engineering

Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and pdf editors

Relevant water/ wastewater coursework or projects

Ideally, you’ll also have:

Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering

Prior work or internship experience with an engineering consultancy or municipality

Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year

Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
