Licensed Insurance Agent

Full Job Description We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to service existing customers and generate new business by contacting potential customers. As part of the Powell Watson Motor Auto Group, you will have the opportunity to service and sell insurance plans to hundreds of current automotive customers.Our goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our reputation. Since you also service the clients you sell, you also control several aspects of your day and deepen relationships among your clients which also leads to more referrals and a more satisfying and productive day. Responsibilities Work current automotive customersfor new insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc Evaluate business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles Achieve monthly/quarterly objectives Maintain bookkeeping systems, database and records Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services Fulfill all policy requirements Skills Experience as an Insurance agent or relevantemployment Avalid Texas P&C License if preffered but not neccesary as we can facilitate the opportunity to License candidates Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc) Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis Proven ability to work with goals Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships High school degree Job Type: Full-time Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month in commision Additional Compensation: Individual Bonuses Agency Bonuses Work Location: One location Schedule: Monday to Friday Alternating Weekends Benefits Benefits include medical and dental insurance, 401K retirement savings plan, Vacation time, holiday and sick leave, company paid continuing education and training.
