Junior Accountant
VirtualVocations
To support accounting operations and financial planning activities, the full-time remote Junior Accountant will prepare journal entries, assist with accounts payable and receivable, and support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Key Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while analyzing financial trends and operational metrics Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-4 years of accounting experience with financial analysis Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables and formulas Experience with Gov Con accounting packages, ideally PROCAS Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
