Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position located in Warsaw, Indiana. The role involves providing critical care to ventilator-dependent patients, managing IV drips, IV sedation, and occasional post-procedure recoveries. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex patient cases within a fast-paced environment, working overnight shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every third weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Indiana state RN licensure; Critical care experience of at least 2 years; Certifications include ACLS and BLS; Valid drivers license; Current drivers license; Ability to work night shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vent-dependent patients and EMR systems such as Cerner.
• Additional Information: The unit comprises 14 beds within a 72-bed facility, with an average monthly volume of 175 patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 2:1 or 3:1 depending on patient needs, with an overflow ratio of 1:5 in the Medical-Surgical overflow/Progressive Care Unit. Travelers must submit a valid drivers license, certifications, and must be greater than 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates are not accepted. Prior experience with the organization or willingness to review candidates with pending licenses will be considered.
