Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physician

Join our dynamic outpatient practice that is experiencing significant patient volume.

• Collaborative Team: Work alongside 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider.
• Comprehensive Care: Provide care from newborns to seniors, with no obstetrics required (optional shared care available).
• No On-Call Duties: Enjoy a work-life balance with no call responsibilities.
• Additional Compensation: Extra pay available for ER and inpatient work.
• Access to Specialists: Collaborate with specialists in various fields, including general surgery, cardiology, ENT, nephrology, and more.
• On-Site Services: Benefit from lab, x-ray, ultrasound (including Echo), pain management, behavioral health therapy, and more, all available on-site.
• Critical Access Hospital: Be part of a 25-bed facility serving 12,000 residents in Hancock County and surrounding areas.
• Trauma Care: Work in a Level IV Area Trauma Care Facility, affiliated with a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching facility.

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible, with certification required within 3 years of eligibility.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Base salary of $301,290 plus production incentives.
• Bonus Package: A generous $150,000 bonus opportunity.
• PTO: 34 days of paid time off while on base; 40 days when on production.
• CME Allowance: Annual continuing medical education budget of $4,000.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at our affiliated facility.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in Iowa, along with the necessary controlled substance and DEA certificates.
