We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility team in Cupertino, CA . This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve greater independence through high-quality rehabilitation services.

As a PTA in the SNF setting, you will work alongside Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or age-related conditions. Your role will directly impact patient recovery and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility and functional outcomes
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, strengthening programs, and mobility interventions under PT supervision
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to supervising therapists
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, mobility strategies, and safety precautions
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records in compliance with facility standards
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care
• Promote patient engagement, independence, and rehabilitation goals

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Compassionate approach toward patient care and rehabilitation
