Customer Service Representative Location: Salinas, California
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative , you’ll be the first point of contact for  customers. You'll serve as a liaison between customers, sales, and operations, shaping positive experiences and ensuring satisfaction throughout the entire order lifecycle. This role covers multiple customers and plants, with responsibilities spanning product knowledge, production planning, logistics, inventory management, and quality support. Major Responsibilities Business Excellence

• Create and validate new item specifications/projects.
• Manage complex accounts and orders, ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
• Monitor order activity and inventory; proactively alert staff/customers of potential issues.
• Handle outside purchasing for materials/services required for manufacturing customer projects.
• Report and share data with customers.
• Generate and troubleshoot customer issues, supporting the Quality Manager.

People & Culture

• Empower yourself through training and resources to deliver top-tier customer experience.
• Collaborate with sales, production, credit, and quality teams to solve problems and ensure smooth operations.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
• Support pre-pricing and project specification reviews with production teams.
• Align with plant leadership and company goals.

• Frequent typing and use of computer terminal.

• Indoor, climate-controlled office.
• Frequently sedentary role requiring sitting or stationary work.
