Registered Nurse Operating Room

$2937.60/week - Job Summary: RN Surgery provides skilled nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room, supporting safe, efficient perioperative workflows. This per diem role focuses on maintaining patient safety standards and delivering high-quality clinical support before, during, and after procedures. Responsibilities: Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring adherence to infection prevention standards. Assess patients and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the surgical team. Assist with intraoperative documentation and medication/therapy administration per protocol. Coordinate pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing activities to support continuity of care. Maintain compliance with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP guidelines and emergency response practices as applicable. Qualifications: Hold an active nursing license and be able to complete nursing license verification. Maintain current BLS certification. Maintain current ACLS certification as applicable. Maintain current PALS and NRP certifications as applicable. Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or valid attestation of vaccination/declination. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment.
