Operating Room NurseThe operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional. Ensures that supplies and implants are available. Call requirements currently are 5 shifts from Monday to Friday in a 6-week period.
