• ** CapEx & Cost Tracking: ** Analyze incoming invoices and expenditures to accurately classify them as Capital Expenditures (CapEx) or Operating Expenses (OpEx).
• ** Month-End Close: ** Execute month-end and year-end close procedures by preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forward schedules, and financial reports. [1, 2]
• ** Audit & Compliance: ** Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, maintaining meticulous documentation to satisfy regulatory and tax requirements. [1]
• ** Cross-Functional Collaboration: ** Partner with Project Managers, IT, and Operations to monitor Construction-In-Progress (CIP) budgets and project spend. [1, 2]
• ** Process Improvement: ** Continuously refine accounting workflows and support ERP enhancements (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday). [1]

Key Requirements

• ** Education: ** A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• ** Experience: ** Typically 5 to 7+ years of progressive corporate accounting or public accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on fixed assets.
• ** System Proficiency: ** Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience using major enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., Oracle Help Center).
• ** Regulatory Knowledge: ** Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 842 Accounting), and corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.
