Arcade Supervisor

Amusement Supervisor Essential Duties Under the direction of the Amusement Manager or General Manager, achieve departmental sales goals through efficient execution of company policies. Be on the floor to provide personal sales support and troubleshoot the amusement department at least 90% of the time (100% during busy weekend periods). Control payout ratios of crane operations by closely monitoring payout numbers and customer activity. Conduct till checks, handle refunds, process credit, and make ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy. Carry out opening and closing department procedures. Complete all amusement‑related reports assigned by the Amusement Manager and corporate office. Assist the Amusement Manager or General Manager in preparing work schedules and assigning employees to specific duties. Monitor store inventory levels daily to ensure adequate product availability. Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with operational practices and policies. Ensure employees follow security, sales, and safety procedures and practices. Help ensure all store amusement employees receive proper training. Assist other departments as needed and cross‑train on basic understanding of all departments. Attend all department and store meetings as assigned by the General Manager or Amusement Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Open availability, especially nights and weekends. Must be 21 years old or older; able to handle and serve alcohol. Associates degree and 2–3 years of retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries (not required). Work Environment The employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity are expected. Noise levels are usually loud. Physical Demands Requires frequent bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and maintaining high mobility in small spaces. The employee must stand and walk for long periods during busy times and handle tasks that require use of hands and fingers. Lifting or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
