Lead Line Cook
$22 - $23 per hourDialog Cafe - West Hollywood
Dialog Cafe is looking for a strong PM LEAD LINE COOK to help lead our evening service and support the continued growth of our dinner menu.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen , can lead a team through service, and takes pride in leaving the kitchen set up for success the next day.
You’ll be responsible for managing the line during dinner, maintaining speed and quality , and ensuring a clean, organized, and fully reset kitchen for AM service .
What You’ll Do
Lead the line during dinner service, maintaining 10–15 minute ticket times
Ensure consistent execution, quality, and presentation of all menu items
Support expo, garnish plating, and bagging takeout orders as needed
Step into stations during peak periods or call-outs to support the team
Conduct pre-service line checks to ensure all stations are fully set up for dinner
Monitor flow, communication, and organization during service
Enforce use of proper portioning tools and standards
Create prep lists for AM line cooks and prep team as needed
Support line cooks in cleaning and organizing stations at end of shift
Maintain FIFO practices and proper labeling/storage
Complete PM DOH checklist , including:
Equipment turned off
Temperature checks
Lowboy functionality
Sanitizer buckets emptied
What We’re Looking For
Experience working multiple stations (hot and cold line)
Lead line cook or leadership experience preferred
Strong ability to perform under high-volume dinner service
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Ability to take ownership of service and closing responsibilities
Available to work weekends, and holidays
