Surgical Technologist
Brooklyn Hospital Center
The Surgical Technologist under direct supervision by a Registered Professional Nurse, surgeon, or other healthcare professional, serves as part of a medical team providing surgical care to patients, facilitates the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
* High School Graduate or GED * Successful completion of the Surgical Technologist Program * One (1) to two (2) years of operating room work experience * Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) * Hold and maintain a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting * Incumbents to the position as of January 1, 2015: Provides evidence was employed as Surgical Technologist in healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one (1) year, occurring within the four (4) years immediately prior to January 1, 2015. * Demonstrated ability to do arithmetic and communicate in oral or written EnglishVacancy posted 2 days ago
