Health Systems Regional Scientific Director
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Health Systems Regional Scientific Director to build relationships with healthcare decision-makers across payer organizations and health systems in the Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada region. The role combines medical expertise with strategic account planning to support access to information about the company's MASH therapeutic products.
Responsibilities
- Develop professional relationships with key decision-makers in organized health systems and payer organizations
- Partner with account teams to develop strategic plans and execute medical activities aligned with account objectives
- Coordinate with regional medical science liaisons to address scientific support needs in affiliated health systems
- Provide technical resources and strategic input to senior leadership and market access teams
- Support health economics activities and attend scientific meetings with deliverable preparation
Requirements
- Clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, or equivalent)
- 5+ years' experience in IDN and payer environments with peer-to-peer relationship skills
- Thorough knowledge of managed markets, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence generation
- Strong understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and medical affairs systems (Veeva Vault, CRM tools)
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with cross-functional collaboration abilities
