SUBSTITUTE SECRETARY

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARYProvide substitute secretarial support to the Port Angeles School District. This would include working as a substitute for the school secretaries and for secretaries in our Central Services Building and Maintenance Building. Must possess the availability and desire to work on an on-call basis with short notice and a commitment to support the Port Angeles School District staff when needed.General Office Duties/Qualifications:Assist and work positively with staff and possess the ability to handle stressful situations.Must be able to assure/maintain confidentiality of information.Take and relay accurate messages for all district administrators and office staff.Sort and distribute mail, interoffice mail and UPS deliveries.Routine typing, photocopying and other clerical duties.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel programs.Must have a calm and cordial manner with the public, in person and on the telephone.Ability to work under time-pressure and attention to detail a must.Other duties assigned by office staff.Responding to stressful situations appropriately.Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.All positions are on site and in person.Wages – Substitute Secretary $20.41 per hour Benefits - Medical, Retirement, Basic Life/AD&D, Basic Long-Term Disability, FSA & HSA.
