Career Opportunities: Directional Drill Operator (10529) Requisition ID 10529 -Posted - PMO - Operations - NFSL1-Salt Lake City, UT - Office - Entry-Level - 0% - 24% At Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC, as a Directional Drill Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. What you’ll do Determine bore path and locate utilities Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path Develop and maintain a bore schedule Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes Physical abilities & exposures Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse Connecting you to great benefits Weekly Paychecks Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays 401(k) w/ Company Match Stock Purchase Plan Education Reimbursement Legal Insurance Discounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!
