About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of Transactions and Partnering to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a senior leader in the Corporate Development organization, responsible for the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and execution of strategic business development transactions. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's corporate and portfolio objectives, particularly in the area of RAS-addicted cancers. The VP will lead a high-performing transactions and partnering team, working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape and advance high-priority opportunities. Key responsibilities include leading transaction activities, serving as the senior transaction lead for complex deals, and developing creative transaction structures. The role also involves external relationship management, governance, and executive decision support. Applicants for this role at the company should have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an MBA, PhD, MD, or PharmD. A minimum of 15 years' experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical business development is required, with a proven track record of leading and executing complex strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical drug development, transaction structures, and deal economics, as well as exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in oncology therapeutics, precision medicine, or related technologies is a plus. The role demands a leader with a strong network in the industry, the ability to influence across organizations, and a commitment to the company's mission of changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers.
