Lead with purpose

Our mission is simple: help great companies and talented people connect, faster and better. As the Branch Leader, you will rally a values-driven team, scale revenue, and ensure every client and associate experience meets Express’s high bar.

Your challenge

Forge an elite team
- Attract, develop, coach, and hold the team accountable to Express core values
- Run daily huddles, weekly 1:1s, and formal performance reviews
- Instill ownership, professionalism, and a results-first mindset
- Balance headcount, schedules, and PTO for seamless coverage
Accelerate sales momentum
- Deploy a quarterly sales strategy across net-new and existing clients
- Maintain robust activity: outreach, meetings, and pipeline hygiene
- Consistently achieve new-client growth and revenue targets
- Oversee onboarding, relationship care, and long-term retention
Engineer a recruiting engine
- Design recruiting plans to sustain a healthy candidate pipeline
- Measure applications, interviews, and placements to boost conversion
- Ensure the Express selection process is followed precisely
- Step into interviews and support hard-to-fill roles when needed
Deliver operational excellence
- Oversee job order intake, smart assignment, and timely fill rates
- Leverage system reports to monitor service quality and follow-through
- Resolve client and associate issues with urgency
- Safeguard satisfaction and strong Net Promoter Scores
Own the business fundamentals
- Manage payroll and account setup with full adherence to Express systems
- Improve profitability, manage AR, and partner on collections
- Track and mitigate workers’ compensation and unemployment risk
- Maintain 24/7 availability through on-call program management
Show up for the community
- Build local relationships via networking and community involvement
- Represent Express at job fairs and workforce events
- Uphold compliance with all employment laws and internal policies

What you bring

2–4+ years in leadership, sales, or staffing
Skilled coach and communicator with a bias for accountability
Proven ability to win in a fast-moving environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Scope of leadership

You will lead Business Developers, Employment Specialists, Recruiters, and administrative staff.
