Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: Southfield, MI

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm or 8am-4:30pm

Pay : $40-50/h

What You'll Do

Imaging & Patient Care

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort .
• Administer contrast media when appropriate, monitoring patients for reactions.
• Verify patient history and ensure proper documentation prior to procedures.
• Perform IV placement and administer contrast media.
• Perform daily QC.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all imaging meets quality standards for diagnostic accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA principles) to minimize exposure.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements .
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly.

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging and reporting.
• Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.

Documentation & Systems

• Accurately document procedures in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems .
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations .

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program .
• ARRT certification (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Active state licensure
• Current BLS certification .
• Experience performing CT scans in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols .
• Understanding of radiation safety and contrast administration .
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
