Job Description

Part-time and full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.

Schedule requirements: On-call: 1 shift every 6 weeks, Holidays: 3 rotating holidays per year, Weekends: Every 3rd weekend

Welcome to 5E, our Med/Surg unit with 30 beds dedicated to respiratory, infectious diseases, and general Med/Surg care.

On 5E, you can earn a certification in Med Surg/Progressive Care, adding to your professional growth. Nursing skills gained on this unit:

• Obtain Med Surg/Progressive Care certifications
• Develop strong bedside and procedural skills
• Understand and develop further expertise for a variety of treatments due to nature of acuity adaptable
• Time management & flexibility while managing patients ranging in acuity levels

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
