The Role The Quote Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for prospective and existing customers. This includes collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and field service technicians across multiple locations to ensure all quotes are aligned with company pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities Generate accurate quotes based on Service Technician recommendations, including pricing and delivery timelines. Work closely with technicians to receive onsite approval for work needing to be done onsite. Call customers on occasion to retrieve onsite approvals and NTE increases for quotes. Review and analyze customer requirements, ensuring all necessary factors (e.g. discounts, volume, customization) are included in the quote. Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering across multiple locations to ensure all quotes are aligned with the company quote policy and pricing strategies. Maintain and update quote records in CRM or relevant systems, tracking the status and follow‑up actions for each quote. Ensure quotes are efficient, competitive, and aligned with pricing guidelines, balancing customer expectations with business needs. Analyze historical data and sales order history in ERP and CRM to determine if pricing decisions can be independently made or if management approval is required. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred. Ability to work and achieve KPIs within a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of individuals located at multiple sites. Working knowledge of how to research information in an ERP system, and how to quote products out of CRM or quoting software. Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills, written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Self‑starter with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
