Registered Nurse

Seeking a Registered Nurse with familiarity in Meditech. Experience in day surgery or preoperative roles is essential. The shift is 4x10 from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Experience with adult patients is preferred, with pediatric experience as a secondary priority. The unit comprises 22 beds and has a staff of 41. On the day shift, the staffing includes a charge nurse, preoperative RNs, post-operative RNs, and patient care technicians. Patient ratios are 1:1 for preoperative and post-anesthesia testing, and 3:1 for post-operative care. Typical procedures include general surgery, gynecological procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and scopes. Candidates should be flexible, friendly, and team-oriented. Self-scheduling is available, with specific requirements on scheduling for Mondays and Fridays. Must maintain the ability to work during inclement weather. No weekend or on-call requirements are present.
