Accountant | Financial Reporting & Forecasting

We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Ohio. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of USD 80,000 annually and provides an opportunity to work within a collaborative environment that values accuracy and efficiency. As an integral member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Join us and contribute to our mission of achieving financial excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable. Develop, implement, and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review. Analyze business operations, financial commitments, costs, revenues, and trends to develop projections for future revenue and expenses. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals and financial planning. Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits. Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance. Provide financial advice and guidance to management and stakeholders to inform business decisions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related financial position. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nice-to-Haves Experience with financial modeling and data analysis. Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards specific to Ohio. Experience in a similar industry or sector.
