The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of apartment complexes. This role involves performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to guarantee the safety, functionality, and appeal of apartments. The technician collaborates with property management and responds quickly to tenant maintenance requests to uphold high standards of living.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on apartments and common areas
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and structural components
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work areas and tool inventory
