Required Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligibility for Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) in progress
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school environment
• Strong communication abilities and collaborative mindset to work with teachers, administrators, and families
• Bilingual proficiency highly preferred, enhancing communication with a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for middle school students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy according to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teaching staff and special education teams to support students’ academic and social engagement
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students and families, fostering a supportive learning environment
