Receiving Clerk

Our client, a manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the supply chain and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $17/hr

Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday, 8a - 4:30p

What's the Job?

• Processing incoming deliveries by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspecting shipments for damage or defects during receipt and ensuring safety standards are followed
• Updating inventory records in SAP and spreadsheets accurately and promptly
• Collaborating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and manage returns
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including dock and receiving areas

What's Needed?

• Ability to verify and check details on packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders accurately
• Basic math skills for calculating quantities and verifying order accuracy
• Physical stamina to lift and move packages up to 30 pounds safely
• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or similar software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
