Senior Acquisition Specialist / Management AnalystGovCIO is currently hiring for Senior Acquisition Specialist / Management Analyst to support acquisition lifecycle management, process management, and procurement activity support at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This support will focus on being a senior individual contributor to the agencies' acquisition management processes, including but not limited to documentation development, pre-award and post-award process execution, package development, and contract management activities. This position will be a fully remote position.Responsibilities:Develop procurement request packages and support end-to-end acquisition lifecycle activities, including planning, solicitation, award, administration, and closeout in support of federal leadsProvide program management support to the conducting of acquisition management reviews, assessments, and analyses at the program levelCollaborate with Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), program offices, and cross-functional teams to execute on contractual mission requirementsMonitor acquisition performance using metrics and recommend process improvements for overall procurement executionProvide contract administration support, including invoice review, post-award conference support, contract file documentation, and related correspondenceDirect core acquisition functions, including program baseline support, acquisition risk management, and comprehensive acquisition planningReview project deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standardsDevelop, gather and disseminate information and documentation among both business and technical customers in support of the overall programEstablish effective project communication plans and ensure their executionLeverage advanced writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view to create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrativeQualifications:Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience)12+ years of experience work in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years of experience may be removed for a master's degree)Direct experience in government acquisitions and/or contract management functions in a law enforcement specific environmentPreferred Skills and Experience:Direct experience as a federal contracting officerExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong understanding of the government acquisition lifecycle processes and documentationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesAbility to lead in an extremely fast-paced environment.Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other team and external stakeholdersBe flexible to change direction on a moment's notice while also tracking/executing tasks in progressAbility to think "outside of the box" while communicating or dealing with a variety of situationsClearance Required:Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required)Posted Salary Range:USD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Company Overview:GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
