Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time | Nights| PRN - (Days/Nights)

As an ER Registered Nurse, you’ll assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care during some of the most critical moments of their lives while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, compassion, and community-centered care.

Schedule: Full-Time | Nights | PRN (Days/Nights) available

What You’ll Do

• Serve as an advocate for patients of all ages (ranging from neonates to geriatrics), respond to emergencies quickly and effectively and help maintain an efficient ER environment
  
• Perform initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  
• Administer medications & IV therapy per hospital policy and with accuracy and confidence
  
• Respond quickly and effectively to trauma, medical emergencies, and critical situations
  
• Coordinate nursing care and patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies
  
• Accurately document patient status, interventions and responses in the electronic medical record
  
• Provide emotional support and compassionate communication to patients and families during difficult moments
  
• Uphold the highest standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care
  

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  
• Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
  
• BLS certification required
  
• Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire
  
• TNCC preferred
  
• Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
  
• New graduates with a passion for emergency medicine are encouraged to apply
