Business Immigration Paralegal

Position: Business Immigration Paralegal Location: New York, NY Onsite Logistics: (3) days a week Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 with additional OT and Bonus Openings: 3 positions available: 1 Temp to Perm, 1 Sports Practice, 1 Technology Industry Responsibilities Handle case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies; including document gathering, reviewing, drafting, and filing. Assist lawyers in preparing documents, forms, and letters using web-based software and adapting resources when required to deviate from templates. Communicate and follow up with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure delivery and receipt of materials. Schedule and calendar meetings and monitor timelines and case status. Conduct research to obtain information such as industry or company data, wage data, or processing procedures and timelines. Evaluate cases, relay concerns, and proactively escalate to attorneys. Perform administrative duties including file organization, scanning, e-filing, billing, engagement letter preparation, and file maintenance. Extensive experience with H-1B visas, L-1A and L-1B visas, TN visas, E-2 visas, PERM, I-140s for EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3. Education Requirements A minimum of 4 years' experience as an immigration paralegal, preferably in a law firm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
