Job Description

The Technical Consultant will design and deliver ServiceNow solutions based on customer business and technical requirements. The consultant will work with customers through requirements, solution design, technical documentation, implementation, testing and ongoing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support deal scoping and validate technical scope.
• Work with customers on technical documentation and solution requirements.
• Design technical architectures that support long-term platform use and follow ServiceNow technical standards and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Support story execution and help reduce technical debt.
• Resolve technical issues and escalations using ServiceNow product knowledge.
• Participate in customer workshops to review current processes and define future-state processes.
• Deliver ServiceNow solutions that meet customer business requirements.
• Advise customers on how to use ServiceNow platform capabilities to improve business processes.
• Guide customers in completing technical documentation, including business requirement workbooks.
• Provide oversight and support for unit testing.
• Support adoption activities and technical training as needed.
• Work with project teams and customers throughout implementation and delivery.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• Experience working in a professional services organization or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong ServiceNow implementation and consulting experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with ServiceNow solution design and technical architecture.
• Experience working with customers in workshops and technical discussions.
• Experience resolving complex technical issues through analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage project responsibilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow certifications related to relevant workflows is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, generate insights or support business and technical work is preferred.
• Understanding of core AI concepts, responsible AI use and ServiceNow platform use cases is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
