H Mart is seeking a detail-oriented Grocery Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement and inventory lifecycle for our regional stores, specifically focusing on grocery, meat, and seafood departments. In this role, you will serve as the primary link between our supply chain and sales data. You will be responsible for managing the high-volume input of Purchase and Sales Orders, monitoring warehouse inventory via the ARAM (Automatic Replenishment) system, and ensuring our stores stay stocked with a high variety of fresh products. Beyond data entry, you will analyze weekly sales performance and gross profit (GP) to drive promotional pricing and coordinate local marketing efforts. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and analyze weekly sales performance Gather and input data for regional orders, such as Purchase and Sales Orders Process store orders, including special item orders and promotional event orders Monitor warehouse inventory and ARAM (Automatic Replenishment and Allocation Management) system Weekly check on warehouse operation status by analyzing item shipments and warehouse GP (Gross Profit) Analyze each department’s missing items in order to maintain and stock variety of items Compile weekly sale items, set promotional item prices as well as price adjustments for special items and measure sales performance Organize and prepare materials for weekly store and department manager meeting Plan and coordinate marketing efforts such as local store marketing events, store specific new item promotions and campaigns Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers, competitors, products, and services Qualifications Must be able to work legally in the United States Bilingual in Korean and English preferred Health, Dental & Vision insurance / EAP (Employee Assistance Program) 401(k) Retirement Plan with up to 5% match Life Insurance and AD&DD (Accidental death & Dismemberment) BTA Insurance (Business Travel Accident Coverage) Company provided lunch Paid-time off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Celebration & Condolence Benefits Employee Discount Program (5%) Holiday Gift certificates FSA (Flexible Spending Account) DCFSA (Dependent Child Care Spending Account) HSA (Health Savings Accounts) per company policy Annual Salary: $60,000.00, FLSA Non Exempt.
