Production Worker

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Production Worker for a client located in Houston, TX to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: $13.00/hour

Schedule: Must be available to work 8-12 hour shifts, any shift and overtime as needed

Summary:

Responsible for supporting production operations by following established safety procedures, quality standards, and process documentation. Assists production personnel, operates simple electronic machines, and helps ensure products meet required specifications and tolerances while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
• Follow all company policies, safety rules, quality procedures, and operational regulations
• Maintain production quality standards by verifying product quantity and quality according to specifications
• Assist production personnel in accordance with instructions and operational guidelines
• Operate simple electronic machines and equipment as assigned
• Produce required quantities of parts within established tolerances and specifications
• Correctly and safely use basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks
• Assemble and pack materials and equipment as required
• Organize, prepare, and stage goods for shipment
• Perform basic adjustments, support maintenance activities, and complete essential cleaning duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
• Support additional production and operational duties as directed

Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED preferred or 6 months of manufacturing/distribution experience in lieu of education
• Ability to stand and work for 8-12-hour shifts
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
