The organization offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where supply chain professionals have a direct impact on business performance and customer success.Job DescriptionAct as the primary supply chain and procurement point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring material availability aligns with customer demand and production schedules.Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support both existing production requirements and new product introduction initiatives.Execute the full purchase order lifecycle, ensuring orders are placed accurately and in alignment with forecasts, demand signals, and contractual agreements.Monitor supplier performance, proactively manage delivery commitments, and communicate supply risks or schedule changes to key stakeholders.Identify, qualify, and implement alternate sourcing solutions to mitigate shortages, reduce risk, and maintain production continuity.Lead material expediting efforts and supplier follow-up activities to ensure timely delivery and resolve critical supply constraints.Establish inventory stocking strategies that balance service levels, inventory turns, and working capital objectives.Analyze demand changes, backlog movement, and inventory trends to support informed decision-making and operational alignment.Provide regular status updates to cross-functional teams, outlining risks, action plans, ownership, and timeline expectations.Partner closely with internal stakeholders to improve supply chain performance, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery metrics.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
