About the Opportunity

A large healthcare organization is creating a new IT Field Support Team dedicated to supporting clinic locations throughout the Jackson area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, customer service, problem-solving, and working directly with end users .

What You'll Be Doing

This team will have three primary responsibilities:

1. Escalated IT Support

• Handle hardware and software issues escalated from the Help Desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and application issues.
• Provide onsite support to clinic staff.

2. Project Work

• Hardware deployments and upgrades.
• New clinic technology setups.
• Computer replacements and refreshes.
• Equipment moves and installations.
• Other IT infrastructure and desktop support projects.

3. "Rounding" (Proactive Customer Support)

One of the most important parts of this role.

Instead of waiting for users to submit tickets, technicians will regularly visit clinics and proactively ask:

Many doctors and nurses are too busy to submit support tickets, so the organization wants technicians who will identify and resolve issues before they become bigger problems.

Bottom Line: This role is looking for a customer-service-focused IT professional who can provide hands-on technical support, proactively solve problems, and deliver an exceptional support experience for healthcare staff across multiple clinic locations.

This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, MS.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $22.00/hr.
