Senior Commercial Lender, President About the Company Flourishing community bank Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Commercial Lender, President to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for extending credit in accordance with established policies and guidelines, ensuring a thorough understanding of each customer's financial needs, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves the proper administration of creditworthiness and documentation for all loans, as well as the assignment of credit ratings and the early identification of potential problem loans. The Senior Commercial Lender will also be involved in the collection process, protecting depositors' funds, and generating earnings for the company. Applicants must have a college degree in a related field, with a preference for a degree in general business, finance, economics, or accounting. A minimum of 5 years' lending experience and 5 years' experience in banking, investment, or economic analysis is required. The role demands strong communication, mathematical, and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work with a variety of financial and business concepts. The Senior Commercial Lender will be expected to have a proven track record in developing new business, managing a loan portfolio, and maintaining a favorable image for the company. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is a must.
